3V has provided advice on technology, strategy and policy development, and project management services to organisations using new media and communications technologies since 1993 and on the web since 1995. Principals and partners have variously worked at the leading edge(s) of the computing, communications, media, arts and entertainment fields. 3V incorporates Open Access Cable, the foundation consultancy company, and Merlin* Integrated Media, the media and web production arm. *MERLIN (the Media Education Research Lab and Interactive Network) was an art and technology project of Merlin Integrated Media that operated between 1995 and 1999. MERLIN produced the 1997/1999 CD ROM Metabody and other online projects studying distributed human presence and agency. The cULTURE cHANNEL project was founded by MERLIN in 1995. |
